Student Services Team

The Student Services Team provides information, help and support at every stage, sensitively and in confidence. The team works closely with teaching staff and personal tutors to ensure an effective support system for each student, according to individual needs.

The Student Services Team includes:

  • Transition Support before you start College and once you are here
  • Careers/Higher Education Advice
  • Counselling Services
  • Finance & Bursary Support
  • Guidance & Central Interview Services
  • Multifaith Chaplaincy
  • Learning Facilitator Team
  • Charity – Weymouth College’s Therapy Dog
  • Young Health Champion Programme

We also have a designated area where we work closely with students experiencing social emotional issues.

Specialist & Learning Support Team

The Specialist and Learning Support Team provide a support base for students who have been identified as requiring support.  They work closely with teaching staff, personal tutors and the Student Services Team to provide a cohesive and holistic support network for students.
