All courses are available to study online, with our staff and assessors on hand to support you throughout your qualification. Each course varies in duration between 8 and 12 weeks of study.

The courses all lead to a Level 2 Certificates and are available in the following subjects:

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Business Improvement Techniques

This qualification aims to build knowledge on the study of business improvement techniques, including workplace organisation, building effective teams and managing working relationships. It will also teach the importance of improving processes and procedures using visual management systems and flow process analysis.

Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service

In order to have a truly successful business, you need to provide good customer service. Handling a business’s issues in a professional and courteous manner is an essential day-to-day task. This course will enable you to learn to deliver excellent customer service and Increase awareness of understanding and meeting customers’ needs

Level 2 Digital Skills for Work

The aim of this qualification is to support learners in developing digital literacy skills in our modern world. This course will support learners who already work in a role where digital skills are used, and to develop others where digital literacy skills are required in their work role.

Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice or Guidance

To be informed how to provide proper information, advice or guidance within the legal and professional restraints for businesses. There are some fundamental rules for successful information sharing and ensuring staff are aware of these is key. This course will enable you to learn how information, advice or guidance can be explored, how group interaction can be utilised and how to comply with the law.

Level 2 Certificate in Lean Organisation Management Techniques

A lean organisation provides the greatest customer value with the fewest resources, a philosophy increasingly important in today’s competitive business market. This course will provide a sound understanding of the concept and benefits of a lean environment, as well as knowledge of business techniques and working in teams.

Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration

This course will enable you to develop understanding of basic administration concepts and practices, review essential knowledge for daily and more complex administration tasks and learn business and administration national occupational standards.

Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Team Leading

Strong team leadership is essential for providing guidance, direction and instruction within a group and inevitably leads to more effective teamwork and more motivated employees. This course will help you to have an understanding of how to communicate work-related information, how to deliver customer service and resolve problems and how to develop working relationships with colleagues.

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism

How to have a clear understanding of the misconceptions, diagnoses and support surrounding autism. These are just some of the essential skills needed when working with those who have mental health issues. This course will enable you to learn how individuals with autism process sensory information, learn the common misconceptions surrounding autism and how speech, language and communication may differ in people with autism.

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health

It is important for those working with children and young people to have a good understanding of the concepts, risk factors and impact of mental health. Emotional well-being is just as important as a child’s mental health. Understand the factors which may affect children and young people’s mental health and hot to support them.

The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners with knowledge of a range of specific learning difficulties, such as ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia. The course is aimed at learners looking to improve their understanding and awareness of the below key topics, especially those working in healthcare, social care and education.

Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity

Companies are legally required to follow a set of practices to ensure discrimination is eradicated and expectations of equality are met. Level 2 Certificate in Creating a Business Start Up

If you’re looking to start your own business, or already have a business but want to develop and progress your business plan, this qualification will support you with the skills and knowledge you need. The qualification will cover the initial steps for a business start-up, marketing, legal and financial considerations and will enable learners to develop a business plan.

Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

Many people find it helpful to seek the support of counselling at some point in their lives. People in any situation could benefit from counselling, those with the correct understanding, knowledge and skills can provide them with support to improve personal well-being. This qualification will enable to find out about how core counselling skills can be used in a counselling relationship and in other helping activities. You will learn how counselling theory underpins the use of counselling skills, cover the ethical framework and develop skills and qualities for future career and personal development.

Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems

Mental health presents one of the greatest challenges to our society. With an estimated 450 million people worldwide suffering from a mental health problem, around a quarter of British adults will experience some form of mental health problem within the course of a year.

This qualification will help learners to develop understanding and appreciation of mental health conditions and learn about signs, triggers and symptoms of mental health. You will learn how mental health affects an individual’s ability to cope, function, and examine guidance to potentially manage and support them with their illness.

Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace

Around 450 million people currently experience mental health problems, with recent reports suggesting that over 12 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in just one year.

This qualification will help learners to explore mental health and understand how to support individuals with mental ill health. In addition you will understand how to create and adhere to a mentally healthy environment.
