IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds)
This qualification is aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations.
It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
The IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) are the definitive standards for the electrical industry in respect of safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. They set requirements and operating criteria for the UK and correspond to EC standards and are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS 7671).
It is intended to ensure that individuals are conversant with the format, content and application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018.
How is this course assessed?
Learners must successfully complete a two-hour multiple choice online test of 60 questions, to be taken on site at Weymouth College.
This is an open book assessment and learners will be allowed to take in the following permitted reference material – IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition: BS 7671:2018 Requirements

To help you prepare for the City & Guilds 2382:22 examination we can offer two e-learning options:
7 hours of e-learning £75, plus exam fee of £140 – total £215
The course consists of a series of micro-learning activities (around 4-5 minutes in length). Assessment of knowledge is a regular feature within the course, ensuring that learners fully understand how to navigate and interpret the Wiring Regulations in their updated form.
35 hours of e-learning £180 plus exam fee of £140 – total £320
The course consists of a series of micro-learning activities (around 4-5 minutes in length). Assessment of knowledge is a regular feature within the course, ensuring that learners fully understand how to navigate and interpret the Wiring Regulations in their updated form. As part of the course, learners will have access to three practice examination tests.
Exam Only Fee: £140
This is suitable for anyone who has received training previously and is ready to take the exam.
