Hair & Beauty
This is for you if… you are creative, sociable, hard-working, dedicated and enjoy working with people. Our Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy courses offer you the opportunity to train for a flexible career in a constantly evolving sector. You will learn valuable skills that are regularly in demand and transferable worldwide.
For those that study Hairdressing, completion of the Level 2 course provides you with the skills to work in a salon at junior stylist level. Progression to the Level 3 course is recommended to advance your skills and enhance your career opportunities such as opportunities in specialist salons or working as an industrial consultant or progressing on to Higher Education. You could work as a salon stylist and enhance your career by specialising in a particular area or working as an industrial consultant.
To obtain the best career prospects in the Beauty sector it’s advisable to progress through all the levels of Beauty Therapy to Level 3. From there, some of our students have started their own businesses or have chosen to work in health and fitness centres, cruise liners, health farms or hotel salons. Some students combine their studies with work in local salons. Students who completed this course have found employment with Steiner cruise liners, Iroka Salon & Spa, Embrace Beauty Salon, House of Health Beauty, Pure, Fish 4 Feet, Bliss, Breeze, Flawless Wellbeing Centre and Jessell’s to name a few.
