Advanced & Creative Hair Professional – Level 3
In Short
The Advanced Apprenticeship in hairdressing builds on the skills you have achieved at level two, developing your knowledge and creativity to enable you to provide a wide range of hairdressing services to meet the needs of industry. You will learn how to personalise and create looks using the latest techniques and fashions on your clients.
Entry Requirements
GSCE Grade C/4 or above in English & Maths or equivalent.
Based on individual results of the initial assessment, functional skills in English & maths may need to be completed during the apprenticeship. Applicants will also be required to complete a skill scan to establish any prior knowledge/experience. A work placement must also be in place before an apprenticeship can begin.
How will I be assessed?
Assessed in the workplace by Work-Based Learing Support Officer for Hairdressing, and in college as part of day release.
Progression
To work as a stylist, or progression into further education for salon management or other specialist areas
