GREASE
Summer 1959 at Rydell High School, and the new senior students return for one more year… hopefully. Popular teenager, Danny Zuko, returns and resumes his leadership of Greaser Gang, the ‘Burger Palace Boys,’ alongside his best friend Kenickie. He tells his friends about his Summer of Romance, meeting a girl called Sandy, andthey lose contact near the end of Summer.
Unbeknownst to Danny, new student Sandy Dumbrowski has just started her senior year at Rydell High School and meets the ‘Pink Ladies,’ the Burger Palace Boys’ counterparts, led by Betty Rizzo. She recites her story of romance to the group, in which they soon realize she has fallen in love with Danny. After months apart, they meet again… The story covers the themes of youth, relationships and teen romance.
This musical contains a large variety of incredible and iconic musical numbers such as; ‘Greased Lightnin,’ ‘You’re the One That I Want,’ and ‘Summer Nights.’
