Welding Level 1
EAL L1 Diploma in Introductory Welding (QCF)
This one year course will introduce and develop skills in Welding and Fabrication and provide a sound introduction to working with metals.
This course is designed for anyone who would like to work in the Welding and Fabrication Industry and wants to gain a recognised qualification in TIG Welding.
You will be able to Weld to BSEN287 in TIG processes and be able to read basic Engineering Drawings related to the Welding Industry.

Entry Requirements
2 GCSEs at grade 2 / E or above to include English & Maths.

How will I be assessed
These course will be assessed using on-line exams, practical and theory assessments.
Fees
If you are aged 16-18 as of 31 August on the year of enrolment no course fee.
If you are over 19 as of 31 August and enrolling on a full-time programme of study a tuition fee will be applicable in most cases. Bursary funds There are financial support arrangements for 16-18 year olds and hardship funds available for the over 19s.
