Barbering – Level 2
VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering
The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering is designed for learners who work in or wish to pursue a career in barbering. The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering provides the necessary skills and knowledge that prove occupational competence as a junior barber.
Entry Requirements
Level 2 and Level 3 in Hairdressing VRQ or NVQ.
Candidates with Level 2 VRQ/NVQ may be considered with a minimum of 3 years industry experience and upon successful completion of a trades test.
Course Content
This qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required to provide barbering services for all hair types. The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering covers cutting facial hair, creating patterns in hair as well as cutting and styling men’s hair and consulting with clients.
