Fully Funded Multiply Course
This course – delivered face to face – will cover basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills. If you struggle with maths in practical situations, we can help you to learn in a variety of ways; face to face, offsite – taking part in activities such as cooking, shopping, games and problem-solving based maths. This will be delivered in a supportive and enjoyable format to encourage talking about maths in a positive way.
Course Content
This course is designed to help you understand maths in a range of practical situations. It will boost your confidence and skills, delivered in fun and informal groups.
This course will be delivered in a variety of ways in and outside of the classroom, including cooking, walking and shopping.
You will learn practical skills in numeracy, centred around supporting your understanding of household finances, benefitting you and your family. You will be able to learn the basics of addition, subtraction and multiplication through games and problem-solving activities.
If you are aged over 19, live in the Dorset Council area and don’t currently have a GCSE grade C or equivalent, then you will be able to join us and take part in Multiply.
