An Engineering Level 2 is aimed at those who wish to progress to Engineering Diploma Level 3, an apprenticeship or undertake further training within the Engineering Industry. The scheme has been designed to develop a greater understanding of the skills and knowledge required in an Industrial working environment. Completion of the course will also provide you with a Nationally recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification that will enable you to progress on to higher level Technician based courses offered within the college.

The course creates an environment that will assist you in developing the practical skills, knowledge and personal qualities that are essential for career development and progression within the Engineering Industry. It offers any candidate the opportunity to use Industry standard machinery and equipment whilst studying for a qualification recognised at all levels across Industry.
