Welcome to Weymouth College
Weymouth College is an ambitious college heading for outstanding. We are proud to be high performing yet inclusive and accessible in our approach. We challenge and inspire enquiring minds with academic and skills-based courses and produce some remarkable results. We’re home to the best stone masonry courses in the UK and our alumni include an Oscar winner and a celebrity chef. We attract over 7000 students from across the region and have the privilege to be located on Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast, which is England’s first natural heritage site, and the venue for sailing events at the 2012 Olympics.
Whether you are interested in becoming an apprentice and want to talk to real employers, or you are a local business who wants to find out more information on hiring apprentices, then the Apprenticeship Fair 2015 is just for you!
This unique event, held at Weymouth College brings together young people and businesses, and provides them with the opportunity to discover how they could both benefit from Apprenticeships.
Organised in partnership with Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce and Richard Drax MP, the Apprentice Fair is held in two parts. Firstly it features a free employer exhibition area and young people will be able to talk to a range of Apprenticeship providers from a variety of industries and professions. If you are a business interested in exhibiting at the fair for free, please contact Patricia Bradshaw on 01305 208801.
Secondly the event features an opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers including apprentices, employers and our key note speaker Lord Digby Jones.
