Tea Party Productions Presents Through the Looking Glass @ The Bay Theatre
May 27 @ 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm

This half term holiday, our BTEC Performing Arts students bring you ‘Through the Looking Glass’ by Lewis Carroll, a well-known Musical adaptation of this all-time children’s classic story for all the family to enjoy.

Dreading a rather uninspiring dinner party held by her parents and being chastised by her stern governess Miss Prickett who always wants Alice to be more grown up than she is ready to be, Alice is pleased to find solace with the rather curious Mr Carroll. Mr Carroll doesn’t  seem to view the world as other adults do and Alice is intrigued as together they begin to ponder ideas of the mind. When contemplating her reflection in the looking glass, Alice in unexpectedly sucked in to another world and her adventure begins.

All is not well in the world of the chess board. The Red Queen is out of control, and she has stopped the game by imprisoning nearly all of the chess pieces! Alice must cross the board and become queen to restore order before returning home.

‘Through the Looking Glass’ is Lewis Carroll’s sequel to the timelessly popular Alice in Wonderland. Join Alice on her fantastical journey towards adulthood as she meets our favourite characters, Tweedle Dum, Tweedle Dee, Humpty Dumpty, The Unicorn, The Jabberwocky and more in her battle to save the day!

Kids, please feel free to come in costume if you wish!
