Library & Learning Gateway

Within the Learning Gateway are two teaching rooms and computers which can be pre-booked for individual study.

Learning Gateway staff are on hand to offer IT support and to help you make full use of all learning resources. This includes WeyHub, Weymouth College’s VLE (virtual learning environment) and Google Classroom, which offer a vast range of online learning materials for research and to support you in lectures, tutorials and practical work.

You can access WeyHub and Google Classroom off campus so you can study or research at times to suit you.

The Library has a stock of 30,000 items (books, on-line resources, digital equipment, magazines, etc.) and staff to offer support and help with queries.

As a student you can borrow up to twelve items at a time. The Library has a dedicated silent study area and tables for individual or group work. You can also borrow a laptop for use in the Library or anywhere on campus.

The Library has an online catalogue which you can use to search and reserve books or to access e-books and e-journals away from campus. Use this link to access our Online Catalogue. You can renew books by email or phone.
