Coastland Adventure

Welcome to Coastland Adventure. We are part of Coastland College and we provide a wide range of outdoor adventure activities for local community, students and wider public. We are based at the College’s Kingston Maurward Campus, near Dorchester, and at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, Dorset, DT5 1SA.

We take full advantage of the stunning surroundings of the Dorset countryside and coastline. At Portland, you can take part in our well-established water activities. Come and have a go at sailing, stand-up paddelboarding, kayaking and you can also test your raft building skills by participating in this fun team challenge!

At Kingston Maurward, we provide land-based sessions such as climbing, bouldering, high ropes, and we also offer mountain biking, orienteering, treasure hunts, family activities and fun party sessions.

We also provide and run practical support within our BTEC Outdoor Instructor course. Our students gain hands-on water sports experience as well as theoretical coursework support.
