Multiply: Preparation for Level 2 Maths – Functional Skills
Dates: Tuesday 10th January 2023 to Tuesday 21st February 2023
This course has been designed to consolidate your existing skills in preparation for you to enrol and study for a Level 2 Maths Functional Skills qualification.
This course will focus on the following:
- Enhancing your existing knowledge
- Increasing your confidence and break down any barriers to learning
- Develop both written and mental arithmetic skills
- Apply your developing core skills to real-life situations
This course has been designed make to Maths accessible to all and will include practical hands on activities such as carrying out surveys and data analysis and the use of more advanced maths skills in common settings such as the use of percentages.
The course will take place at our Adult Skills Town Centre site, in small group sizes where you will be provided with additional support and guidance if needed.
On successful completion of this six-week course, you will be offered the opportunity to enrol onto a Functional Skills Level 2 Maths course.

Delivered free and fully funded through the Government’s Skills for Life Campaign, this Multiply course is an opportunity to build upon the foundations of your maths knowledge – to gain an increased level of confidence and ability to enable you to enrol onto a Functional Skills Maths qualification at Level 2.
