Dorset Skills for Young People
The Dorset Skills for Young People is a one off programme, funded by the European Union Social Fund and operated in partnership with the Dorset LEP and CSW Group to offer young people not in employment or education or training a chance to gain qualifications and work experience.
The Dorset Skills for Young People programme could be just what you are looking for if you are:
- Aged 16-24
- Not employed
- Not in education or training
- At risk of falling away from education or training
- Live in Dorset
We have a wide range of exciting training opportunities including qualifications such as Young Health Champion and short courses to build upon and expand your confidence, time management, team work and presentation skills.
In addition to this you will have opportunities to participate in work experience which could lead to employment, further education courses or apprenticeships and our friendly and supportive team will be with you every step of the way to help you progress.
