To provide a good understanding of Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair Systems, using theory and practical sessions.

 

Entry Requirements

You will need to have successfully completed the Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair Level 2 course, or have suitable Industrial experience. Selection is by interview with the course tutor.

Course Content

Students will work within the standards studying the following Level 2 units totally 79 points: • Agree Customer Needs • Contribute to Workplace Good House Keeping • Ensure own actions reduce risks to Health & Safety • Maintain positive working relationships • Inspect Vehicles • Diagnose & Rectify Vehicle Engine Systems and Component Faults • Diagnose & Rectify Vehicle Chassis Systems and Component Faults • Fuel – Ignition Exhaust Systems

How will I be assessed?

Practical and Theory examinations.

Progression

On successful completion of the Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair Level 3 you can progress onto the workshop management programme at Level 4.

Tools/Materials/Books

Students are required to purchase a text book. Overalls and safety boots must be worn when in the Workshop.
