Delivered through the Dorset Training Academy, this 3-hour course is designed to provide staff with practical tools which can be used within the workplace to improve emotional regulation, provide safe outlets for stress, improve relationships and develop mental clarity.

Mental health impacts on an employee’s physical health, work motivation, loyalty and productivity.  Evidence suggests that 12.7% of all sickness days in the UK are attributable to mental health.  Providing Emotional Resilience training to employees has a direct impact on their ability to cope well with stress.  By investing in this training, employers can boost company morale, reduce absenteeism and ultimately increase bottom line profit.  It is estimated that in the UK alone, better mental health support could save businesses up to £8 billion per annum.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Define the term ‘Emotional Resilience’.
  • Identify the building blocks of ER.
  • State the key elements of the stress mechanism.
  • Assess own ER and identify areas for development.
  • Use and evaluate a range of ER techniques.
  • Create a personal ER action plan.

The short 3 hour course will be delivered at the Cranford Avenue College site. Free parking is available and refreshments will be provided.  Training can be delivered on site to meet business needs, please contact us to discuss a pre-course assessment of your premises.
