Thirty six Weymouth College students were recognised for their academic achievements at the University of Plymouth Graduation Week 2016 held on Plymouth Hoe 19th – 24th September.
Our students achieved awards in many areas including Foundation Degrees in Actor Training, Health and Social Care and Sport Coaching: Health and Fitness, HNC in Business and Management and the Certificate of Higher Education.
Shelley Poole, Lecturer in Business at Weymouth College said “What a beautiful setting and event for our students to celebrate their individual successes with family and friends. These awards represent a vast amount of hard work and all our students graduating this September should be very proud of what they have achieved.”
Shelley also made special mention of John Norman – achieving a Foundation Degree in Science (Sport: Coaching, Health and Fitness) – who was additionally awarded The Academic Partnership Prize (Weymouth College) by Plymouth University in recognition of the commitment he showed to student participation in the College’s recent QAA review for quality in higher education delivery.
