Another colourful cultural evening that was enjoyed by everyone at the College’s Cygnets restaurant on Wednesday night. This time students and guests enjoyed Eastern European cuisine whilst learning about some aspects of the culture in that region of the world.

Monika Pala (ESOL Lecturer) from Poland, Grazina Ellis (Music Lecturer) from Lithuania, Tolkan Wood (Russian Lecturer) from Kyrgyzstan, Ala Timms (past student) & Elena Bashforth (present student) both from Russia joined with the College’s catering department to put on an evening of Eastern European countries’ culture and food.

A variety of displays from the countries were on show and Grazina lead the customers in a Lithuanian song.

If you would like to know more about the themed evenings run at Cygnets restaurant then please call 01305 208981.
