Fees for Academic year 2013/2014
As an International Student you will be charged the full costs of a course per year.
At the present time Weymouth College does not offer Scholarships to International Students.
To be able to pass the new Tier 4 maintenance test you will need to show that you have the following amounts in your bank account and it will need to have been there for at least 28 days before you apply for your visa.
The full amount of your course fee plus £7,200 maintenance
- £5,000 for vocational courses and materials
- £5,500 International Access to Higher Education
- A non-returnable 50% deposit is required before a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) will be issued. 10% of which is non-refundable. The remainder of your fees are due before the start of your course. Subsequent year’s course fees are due before the start of the follow on year.
- Higher Education course fees are determined by the parent university and depend upon the course. Prices on request.
Higher education course fees are through the parent university but are in the region of £7,800 per year of course.

We strongly advise all students to take out a comprehensive insurance policy for:- Travel
- Accident
- Illness
- Dental treatment
- Opticians
- Theft or loss of personal property
Refund and cancellation in line with all students of Weymouth College
- all 10% deposits are non-returnable to cover all aspects of administration before a student arrives or cancels.
- if you do not complete your course you will still be liable to pay part or all of your tuition fees.
- fee refunds will be given to overseas students within the first four weeks of their studies less the 10% non refundable deposit.
- the refund will be calculated on a full-term basis.
- a £100 administration fee will be deducted from any refund.
- after four weeks a refund will only be granted on extenuating personal circumstances.
- a personal application must be made to the Principal who will consider the application on a case-by-case basis.
