Saturday Morning Adventure Youth Club
Every Saturday morning, Weymouth College is going to be providing a young person’s Adventure Club. Based from the National Sailing Academy on Portland, young people and children can meet and learn a variety of Adventurous activities under the guidance of experienced college instructors and lecturers. There will be a chance to try sailing, windsurfing, climbing, mountain biking, power-boating, coasteering, survival skills, paddle boarding, raft building, kayaking, slack lining and canoeing!
The club starts at 9:30am and finishes at 12:30pm. Cost is £10 per session for over 8s and under 16s; and £15 per session for under 8s and over 4s. (Under 8s need more supervision.) The first session will begin on 29th October.
Sessions must be booked in 5 at a time which then need to be used within 3 months of purchase. Participants will be issued a voucher which will be dated and stamped each time they turn up. However it is advisable for people to reserve a spot each session, to ensure there is a guaranteed space.
