The Learning Partnerships Office is part of the Division for Lifelong Learning. It manages a number of Foundation Degrees, Honours Year, Honours degree, Higher National Diploma/Certificate courses and a Foundation Year. All the programmes lead to a University of Bath award but are delivered by local Further Education Colleges and partner organisations.

Learning Partnerships has a strong commitment to widening participation in, and improving access to, higher education and works with the colleges to provide high quality, vocationally-oriented, higher education programmes.

Learning Partnerships has responsibility for the quality assurance of the programmes (including programme approval, annual monitoring, link tutors, external examiners and student feedback), as well as student administration (such as student record maintenance, confirmation of results, certificate and transcript production and complaints and academic reviews). We also manage the admissions onto the Foundation Year programme.

Students on our courses will be registered at both the college/partner organisation and also at the University. This allows them access to the facilities at both institutions. The University's facilities include the University Library and Learning Centre and the extensive range of sports and recreation facilities at Bath.
