Support

You will be allocated a Personal Tutor for the duration of your course whose role is to help and guide you throughout your studies.

The College has a dedicated Learning Support and Guidance Team who can help and provide HE Students with information on careers, mobility, additional learning needs and personal support in addition to the support and advice they already receive from their personal tutors.

If you have identified an Additional Learning Need on your UCAS application and have confirmed your offer of a place you will be contacted by a member of the Learning Support Team to discuss your supporting needs. If, however, you have an undisclosed supporting need please contact them as soon as possible to discuss this. Do not leave it until you are half way through your course and your studies have been affected.

The Counselling Team offer help and support with any personal or sensitive issues, which may be causing anxiety or distress. All enquiries are treated confidentially. Appointments for these services can be made through the Reception/Information Centre or via the Guidance Office in Fleet building, or direct, in confidence to Jacky Boucherat, in confidence, Counselling Co-ordinator, on 01305 764712.

Learning workshop facilities are available to help students to improve English or Maths.
