Courses

In addition to the courses listed below Weymouth College is currently negotiating with various universities to develop additional Foundation degrees to expand our portfolio of courses on offer within the curriculum areas of Construction, Sailing & Watersports, Sport and Visual Arts. Bournemouth University Courses

Weymouth College offers a range of Higher Education courses through Degree Centre Weymouth.

Course Fees
The annual tuition fee for UK/EU students undertaking a full-time BU degree at a Partner College for 2008/9 will be £3,145.

Students enrolling at Bournemouth University Partner Colleges will automatically receive a non-repayable bursary of £500. Further Bursaries may be available please visit the Bournemouth University Bursaries page for further details.

International Students
Fees vary from course to course from £7500-£8500, and reflect the nature of the resources required to deliver them. Please enquire for further details.

The Media School

The Media School at Bournemouth University is the only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice in the UK, offering courses in Corporate & Marketing Communications, Journalism & Communication, Media Production and Computer Animation.

Foundation degree: Commercial Video with Multimedia (FdA)

One of six Schools within Bournemouth University, Conservation Sciences encompasses Archaeology, Geography, Environmental, Forensic and Earth Sciences, Ecology, Biology, Heritage Conservation and Coastal Zone Management.

Weymouth College is currently negotiating a number of new Foundation degrees in partnership with the University of Plymouth in addition to the courses outlined below:

Foundation degree in Actor Training for Theatre & Media Performance (FdA)

The course is run as part of the University of Plymouth consortium and as such students have the opportunity to access various online resources.

The course fee for 2008/9 have yet to be decided. However, the annual course fee for 2007/8 was £600 with a £158 registration fee payable in Year 1 of the course.
