Engineering Department

The Engineering area offers a wide range of courses both full and part-time ranging from Entry Level Motor Vehicle and Manufacturing to A Levels and advanced technical qualifications.

Other provisions include apprenticeships, experienced worker routes and 0n-site assessment training.  The area has good employer links. The staff have full trade qualifications as well up-to-date safety knowledge. All staff have a minimum of 5 years industry experience and relevant teaching qualifications.

Entry level is a useful first step into Motor Vehicle and Manufacturing; Level 1 courses are an introduction to specific skills; Level 2 courses offer progression to higher skills; and Level 3 are advanced technical qualifications or A levels.

The area has a range of dedicated workshops and modern classrooms/laboratories with interactive white boards to enhance theory learning.
