All qualifications are practical based with theoretical input allowing you to understand the requirements of the chemical, physical and anatomical elements.

Our beauty therapy courses helps you take your first steps to achieving a career in this rapidly growing sector. Previous students have gone on to find employment in local salons, Steiner cruise liners, as a consultant or as a company technician.
To obtain the best career prospects it advisable to progress through all the levels to Level 3. From there some of our students have gone on to opening their own businesses or have chosen to work in health and fitness centres, cruise liners, health farms or hotel salons.
Some work whilst studying in local salons such as Iroka Salon & Spa, Embrace, House of Health Beauty, Pure Beauty Salon, and Classic Beauty. Students who completed this course have found employment with Steiner cruise liners, Iroka Salon & Spa, Embrace Beauty Salon, House of Health Beauty, Pure, Fish 4 Feet, Bliss, Breeze, Flawless Wellbeing Centre and Jessell’s.

On completion of the Level 2 course you could gain employment in a salon at junior stylist level. Progression to the Level 3 course is recommended to advance your skills and enhance your career opportunities such as opportunities in specialist salons or working as an industrial consultant or progressing on to Higher Education. You could work as a salon stylist and enhance your career by specialising in a particular area or working as an industrial consultant.
Functional skills will help develop important skills and will make a difference to your life by helping you reach your full potential. They are key to success; developing your employability skills and helping you get the most from your education and training. They are about using English, Maths and ICT in everyday situations.
